Evelyn Timmermann was born and raised in the St. Hedwig, Texas, area, a small country town where she went to school with about a hundred other pupils.
She started cooking when she was very young because her mother helped her father on the farm. She enjoys changing old recipes and inventing new ones. Since she has no one to inherit her recipes, she started to write cookbooks.
